Mike Roy is a freelance photographer who specializes in video and multimedia stories. He earned his master's degree in photojournalism at Newhouse and his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami. Roy's previous experience includes staff photographer at staff photographer with The Journal News in White Plains, N.Y.; staff photographer/multimedia producer at The Monitor in McAllen, Texas; freelancer for The Miami Herald; and intern at The Post-Standard in Syracuse.
