Chad McNeeley is an active duty Navy photojournalist. The Iowa native has lived in Florida, Hawaii, New York and just about everywhere in between. This wide variety of landscapes and influences has carved out a photographer with the ability, insight and anticipatory skills to capture the most important and personal moments in his documentary work.

McNeeley is currently stationed at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., working as the official photographer to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen. He started his assignment in D.C. as the official photographer to then-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld.

McNeeley has traveled the world documenting the senior leadership journeys, telling the Navy's and Department of Defense's story though imagery. Trained at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and selected as a student at the Eddie Adams Workshop, McNeeley's photographs have been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, Boston Herald, Time magazine and Newsweek among others.
