All in the family

Liverpool Fire Chief Gary Vincitore splits his time between the firehouse and his personal business, Lakeview Center Bowl. He has served the community of Liverpool for three decades as a firefighter and began working at the LCB at age 14. He and his wife, Jill, bought the center 15 years ago. His daughters, Marni and Mindy Santocki, also work at the bowling center as bartenders and waitresses; though Mindy worked as a fire lieutenant at Station 1 for five years before having a baby. Vincitore is teaching his daughters how to run the family business so that he can eventually retire. "If they want the place, they will have to learn how to work here," Vincitore said. With two high-profile roles in the Liverpool community, Vincitore is highly regarded by both bowling regulars and the men and women he fights fires alongside.
